There are a lot of rules, and a lot of contractors don’t know them

Cable sizes, circuit protection, earthing, RCD protection in wet areas, separation from data and low-current lines, labelling and testing: electrical work in the UAE is governed by detailed regulations and authority requirements. Many contractors don’t know them, or ignore them to save time.

The result often shows up at the worst moment: a failed inspection, a building management refusal, an insurance problem or a fire risk. When the installation is not compliant, you end up opening the walls and redoing the wiring, and paying twice for the same job.

Undersized cables

Cables run hot under load. It is a fire risk and an automatic fail at inspection.

No RCD protection in wet areas

Bathrooms, kitchens and outdoor points need it. It is there to protect people.

Unlabelled, overloaded boards

Nobody knows what a breaker feeds, and every fault becomes a search.

A cheap contractor’s saving shows up on the day you sign. The mistakes it causes can show up for years.

Why do I need a contractor who knows the electrical regulations?

Electrical work in the UAE follows detailed regulations and authority requirements. A non-compliant installation can fail inspection or be refused by building management, and it often has to be rewired.

Do you provide electrical test certificates?

Yes. Every circuit is tested (insulation resistance, earth and RCD) and the results are recorded and handed over with board schedules.

Can you upgrade an existing installation?

Yes. We find faults, rebalance loads and upgrade distribution boards and circuits in occupied homes and offices.
